DO YOU OFFER A WARRANTY ON YOUR JEWELLERY?
Yes. Every piece of Bowerbird Jewels jewellery comes with a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects. We check every item carefully before it leaves us, but if something is not right, we want to know about it.
HOW DO I MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM?
Email us at info@bowerbirdjewels.com.au with your order number and clear photographs of the item showing the issue. We will assess your claim and be in touch within two business days. Depending on the nature of the fault, we will offer a replacement or a refund.
WHAT IS COVERED?
Our warranty covers manufacturing defects, including faults in construction, stone setting, or clasps that are present at the time of purchase or arise through normal use within the warranty period.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED?
Our warranty does not cover:
- General wear and tear
- Misuse or accidental damage
- Colour fading or surface wear on plated or coated pieces, including gold vermeil, gold fill, gold plated, and PVD stainless steel. Surface coatings will naturally wear over time with regular use. This is expected behaviour, not a manufacturing defect. Our Care Guide explains how to slow this process and get the most from your pieces.
- Tarnishing of sterling silver, which is a natural characteristic of the metal
- Damage caused by exposure to chemicals, perfume, or water beyond the care guidance provided
- Any piece that has been repaired, resized, or altered by a third party
